Diário de Viagem - 1.º Dia de aulas ✈️📍

Manhã: O dia começou cedo. Acordámos por volta das 8:00 e descemos para tomar o pequeno-almoço às 9:00. O buffet do hotel surpreendeu-me bastante, pois havia uma grande variedade de opções: pão, croissants, sumo de laranja, café… Comemos muito bem.

Depois do pequeno-almoço, organizámos as nossas coisas e seguimos para a escola que nos iria receber, a EÒLIA Centre Superior d'Art Dramàtic, onde tínhamos a primeira aula marcada para as 10:10. Foi uma aula de interpretação para câmara, e fomos muito bem recebidas pelo professor. A aula foi totalmente em inglês, mas consegui perceber bastante bem o que era discutido.

Eles começaram por partilhar opiniões sobre os filmes que o professor tinha recomendado para eles verem.Foi interessante perceber as diferentes perspetivas e a forma como estruturavam as suas opiniões de forma clara. Também tivemos a oportunidade de partilhar as nossas, caso tivéssemos assistido a algum dos filmes.

Depois, os alunos da escola realizaram um exercício de interpretação para câmara. A câmara era posicionada em frente a uma cadeira e projetava a imagem para uma televisão, permitindo-nos ver o resultado em tempo real. A única regra era que não podiam olhar diretamente para a câmara. Notou-se que era um desafio, mas conseguiram fazê-lo muito bem. Foi uma pena não termos participado, mas foi, sem dúvida, uma experiência enriquecedora.

Tarde : Após a aula, fomos almoçar e explorar um pouco de Barcelona. Durante o passeio, visitámos algumas livrarias locais e apreciámos a arquitetura do Palau de la Música que pensávamos que a entrada era gratuita, mas afinal era paga. No entanto, a vista do exterior já foi, por si só, deslumbrante. E visitamos a loja do museu de arte proibida. Antes da nossa aula de jazz, ainda houve tempo para um lanche num café-livraria com uma decoração encantadora e um ambiente acolhedor. Foi um momento muito agradável e relaxante.

Anoitecer : Por volta das 19:30, regressámos à escola para a tão aguardada aula de jazz. Quando chegámos, ainda não estava ninguém, mas, pouco depois, começaram a chegar a professora e os restantes alunos.

A professora e os alunos habituais foram extremamente acolhedores e fizeram questão de garantir que todos nos sentíssemos incluídos nos exercícios. A aula revelou-se mais difícil do que imaginava, pois os movimentos eram bastante rápidos, mas, apesar do desafio, foi muito divertida. Saí de lá muito contente e com vontade de repetir a experiência.

Noite: Depois da aula, fomos procurar um restaurante para jantar. Por volta das 21:00, entrámos num restaurante italiano que servia pizza. Infelizmente, o atendimento deixou a desejar: foram um pouco arrogantes e nada atenciosos. As pizzas eram boas, mas não apreciei muito a minha. Saí um pouco descontente, mas o humor melhorou quando decidimos comer um gelado a seguir – e isso, sim, foi ótimo!

Regressámos ao hotel para descansar, concluindo assim o nosso segundo dia. Foi um dia muito divertido, produtivo e, por incrível que pareça, bastante relaxante.

Morning: The day started early. We woke up around 8:00 and went down for breakfast at 9:00. The hotel buffet surprised me quite a bit, as there was a great variety of options: bread, croissants, orange juice, coffee… We ate very well.

After breakfast, we organized our things and headed to the school that was hosting us, EÒLIA Centre Superior d'Art Dramàtic, where we had our first class scheduled for 10:10. It was an on-camera acting class, and we were warmly welcomed by the teacher. The class was entirely in English, but I was able to understand quite well what was being discussed.

They started by sharing their opinions on the films the teacher had recommended for them to watch. It was interesting to understand the different perspectives and how they structured their opinions clearly. We also had the opportunity to share ours if we had seen any of the films.

After that, the school’s students performed an on-camera acting exercise. The camera was positioned in front of a chair and projected the image onto a television, allowing us to see the result in real time. The only rule was that they couldn’t look directly at the camera. It was clear that it was a challenge, but they managed to do it very well. It was a shame we didn’t participate, but it was undoubtedly an enriching experience.

Afternoon: After the class, we went for lunch and explored a bit of Barcelona. During the walk, we visited some local bookstores and admired the architecture of Palau de la Música. We thought entry was free, but it turned out to be paid. However, the exterior view was stunning on its own. We also visited the shop of the Museum of Forbidden Art. Before our jazz class, we still had time for a snack at a book café with charming decor and a cozy atmosphere. It was a very pleasant and relaxing moment.

Evening: Around 19:30, we returned to the school for the much-anticipated jazz class. When we arrived, no one was there yet, but soon after, the teacher and the other students started to arrive.

The teacher and the regular students were extremely welcoming and made sure we all felt included in the exercises. The class turned out to be more difficult than I had imagined, as the movements were quite fast, but despite the challenge, it was a lot of fun. I left feeling very happy and eager to repeat the experience.

Night: After the class, we went looking for a restaurant for dinner. Around 21:00, we entered an Italian restaurant that served pizza. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing: they were a bit arrogant and not very attentive. The pizzas were good, but I didn’t particularly enjoy mine. I left feeling a bit dissatisfied, but my mood improved when we decided to have some ice cream afterward—and that, I must say, was excellent!

We returned to the hotel to rest, thus concluding our second day. It was a very fun, productive, and, surprisingly, quite relaxing day.
